I just called a dealership to ask about some pricing they had listed in the paper, and I ended up chit chatting with a salesman for about 5 minutes. At the end of the call he asked my name, and then he asked if I had a number he could contact me at. I said, not really, I'll call you if I need anything. Is that common to ask for people;s numbers, was i rude?
what I talked to him about was how could you pay $250/month on a $26,000 vehicle. It was a 10% down + 4 year lease @ 0%. If a person did lease, and at the end of the term wanted to keep the vehicle, could the dealership have the option of keeping it, even if the consumer wanted it?
