I'm used to it from the typical crowd here, but reading KFF join in was a bit disappointing. Seemed really out of character for a person that typically fosters discussion and encourages diverse viewpoints. As someone I consider a community leader that was really discouraging. I also spiraled a bit in my responses, so I'll take my share of the blame.
The entire topic of LGBTQ+ rights on the board continues to be an unsightly sore on CP. The subsequent threads and responses makes me believe taking some time away might be good for me.
