If Brzustewicz has slavic origins (looks pretty Polish to me), then it would be pronounced as Brjew (soft J)-stehv-ich. Polish language rules say to pronounce every single letter, unlike Germanic languages which have silent letters in various words. The Z should not be skipped, and it sounds like a soft J like how the French say it, not the hard J in English.

I guess it comes down to how the player himself wants to say it. Gaudreau used to pronounce his name as Gooodrow, and I remember a few clips of french interviewers calling him out on the pronunciation.

The team will have to interview Brzustewicz so he can have the final say and solve this mystery once and for all.
