I do like the deal simply because Lindholm has been having an off-season. Would have loved to find out what the offers were last year. The 1st can allow for a pick, another trade or a trade up in the draft, so that's valuable, even if it ends up being 32nd overall. The shiny new prospect seems to need to bulk up while also playing smart against NHLers, so hopefully he's not rushed in and development keeps him on the path to success. Kuz I don't care about, but like other have said, if their target is to boost him for a year and get another pick next year, happy to hear that. Overall, it's an alright trade for both sides. I don't see it as a home run for either. Just a solid trade with some light at the end of the tunnel for the Flames which is what is needed from a rebuilding standpoint. I give it an A- to Conroy for his first big deal.
