Speaking of debasing oneself, the fact you can still say something like this after what I think is a pretty thinly veiled call out for being unable to defend or justify the actual bylaw and what it's meant to accomplish speaks volumes. I just got my 90-day notice for my rent renewal; $300/month increase starting in May after just one year. Council could, y'know, maybe vote to implement some form of rent control to stop skyrocketing costs of living for people, but that would be too pragmatic for this council.
