Not surprised by:
- all lawyers saying "my guy is innocent and we'll fight this tooth and nail" (paraphrasing)
- STUNNING SILENCE from nhl.com (you wanna criticize someone...burn them!)
- PR fumbles (all over the place and not just - potentially including - the Flames)
- the absolutely moronic comments made on social media, not, of course, including CP
- the complete lack of understanding of liability in business and employment by many
Surprised by:
- the length of time expected to trial
Disgusted with most of what I've read, both here and elsewhere.
