That's the part of the original statement that stands out to me. If that is indeed true, I don't see what is wrong with the statement.
If it is not true........then yeah, this is a huge problem.
Again, I'm open to any evidence either way. If the Flames are lying I'd really like to know. If they're not, maybe they could have left that part out, but I don't know why they had to if it's true.

It's just a really weird thing to say. There are 2 main implications of being 'under the care of health professionals'
1. A serious incident/admission to a medical facility
or
2. Participating in therapy/counselling. Which could mean like 1 hour a week or even less.
#2 is kinda presumed in any leave for mental health...it's just kinda weird and redundant.

#1...well most people don't want to expose these details immediately, if ever. Dubé's lawyers' statement now requests respect for his privacy...while that's not necessarily a contradiction, it's certainly not consistent.
