Was it a rage-inducing travesty? No. Was it stupid and annoying? Yes. And it’s okay to acknowledge that. You don’t have to join the Dinger Fan Club just because you share an opinion with the guy on a subject.

Or... you could've purchased a paper bag for 0.15 to carry the two items (and more) home in one hand and save a trip back later.
I think that some of the bylaw misses the mark, and maybe you didn't want to part with the literal nickel and dime out of principle, but you could've had your bananas too.
