Interesting. First I've heard of a few of these guys, so I had to do some research.
None of these picks are going to be any lower than the 20's, so that's sort of a wash.
Vegas' 2nd round pick with two crappy throw ins? Get out of here.
Colorado intrigues me because of Ritchie. Still a potential high end prospect if he continues developing. O'Connor is a warm body.
Vancouver has potential because I like Hoglander's game, and Kuzmenko had a flash last year, but based on his career so far, last year seems to be the outlier. Hoglander is just young enough to be considered part of a new young core, so I do pause to consider this one.
I really like both players in the Boston proposition, even if they are going to be lower on the depth chart. Frederic really knows how to play a winning style of game. Poitras is young and has a lot of potential. Looked pretty good at the recent WJC. My only hesitation is that the pick is 2025, but that could be a good thing because they may not be as good next year.
I don't think much of Sam Steel and I'm not sure that Bourque is a good enough prospect to consider the Dallas deal.
Winnipeg has the weakest offer as their prospect is virtually a nobody, but I do like Appleton. Unfortunately, he's already 28 years old.
If I had to rank these deals:
Boston
Vancouver
Colorado
Dallas
Winnipeg
Vegas
