Maybe but I think he is still more Smith than Warner.
But you look at those guys and they only had a couple shots each with their teams. Warner being the Hall of Famer got the Rams to two Superbowls, and than got the Cardinals to one.but Smith had the one good run with S.F. and a couple Division round appearances with K.C. But that was his ceiling. Goff did get one team to the Superbowl and a second to the Title game here. Does he have more, or is this what he is? But unless they draft a young guy, going to be hard to upgrade.

That Rams team was loaded with talent, and another great offensive line. Woods, Kupp, Gurley, Reynolds, and Cooks. Not to mention the defence with a prime Aaron Donald.
The Lions have a lot of weapons as well along with a great line.
They could plug and play another QB and be in the mix next season as well, Goff is a good game manager and able to get the ball out like Smith, but he throws a very ugly ball. He threw some wobblers even on that 4th down that Reynolds should have had that ball was wobbling.
