They had everything go right for them in that first half to be up, and then when the luck went away and it came down to making plays and decision making from their coach we saw they couldn't hang.
Against the Rams, who were a very weak play-off team, they were lucky to get out of that game and would likely have lost if they were facing a quality play-off team not one getting by by smoke and mirrors from their excellent coach and 36 year old QB making plays.
This is far from the first time Campbell has blown games for them, people just didn't pay attention to those games because the Lions weren't relevant. Now that they are he needs to learn from this and adjust how he coaches, so far in his career he hasn't shown that ability both in terms of in game adjustments and especially in 4th down decision making.
As for Goof he is old enough and experienced enough that we can clearly see you are not winning a SB with him even with a team stacked around him. He was fine for the years while they were rebuilding but he is not a SB winning QB in anyway, he continually shows he will not make plays when needed and requires a perfect pocket to be slightly above average at best. That is his ceiling.
