We had a weird one on our trip. It ended up being cheaper for us to arrive at LAX and depart from SNA, even though it meant we couldn’t use our buddy passes since it wasn’t considered a round trip. YYC->LAX was packed and SNA ->YYC was only like 60%-70% full. Made no sense to me.
