The guy who owned that was a proper lunatic but an absolute character. He was so much fun.
Its closed now but that was a blast for pre-game. I wish I could remember that guy's name.

Many years ago, after a looonng day of stampeding that had started with the rodeo, a few buddies and I were looking for a place to eat. We walked by the Lion's Den a air amount of time past closing. We had pulled on the door because we saw one couple inside and didn't realize it was already past closing for the restaurant. The owner saw us and came and let us in, even though the couple that remained were just about done. The owner locked the door behind us and didn't let anyone else in. A great guy and he had a tonne of stories to tell about pro hockey players who had eaten there.
