I found this interesting. Apparently five AJHL teams are moving to the BCHL. The BCHL is arguably the most competitive junior league outside of the three CHL leagues, and is unique because it is not a member of Hockey Canada and can recruit from any region.

The can't be good for the AJHL, but in the long run, a stronger junior league is Western Canada probably isn't a bad thing.
