Yeah, the age difference matters. Pressure for an 18 year old is a lot different than pressure on a 15 year old. Plus, it varies from person to person even if they share the same last name. Tij might be up for it more than Joe, who knows.
Jarome and Conroy obviously know these kids better than anyone else and will do what is appropriate.
