A stock is only high if there are buyers that want to purchase at that price. At that time. Due to numerous constraints on the potential buyers, Conroy likely wasn't going to get what posters believed Lindholm's worth was back then.

Stocks don't sell at their "worth" - (subjective), they sell at what someone is prepared to pay for them (objective).
