Well by the time of the TKO sale the allegations were mostly public...but it's almost impossible to remove Vince because he was the single largest shareholder with voting control.
So you really can't force him out before the sale, and then even as part of the sale there were some key things they wouldn't have been able to do with him as a key shareholder.
I do think now this will probably get him removed from the board, but still going to be tough since with his shares and with his voting power I think he gets to name some of the board...so he can always try to force his way back in.
Really the only thing that can truly remove him fully from WWE/TKO would be criminal charges.
