Was there all that much "unfounded" accusations with the 2018 issues? Even in the face of pretty heavy smoke, like young up and coming players not being qualified, we didn't see that much speculation. Then when the players started taking leaves of absence just prior to the announcement of formal criminal charges, things looked fairly obvious. People were still biting their tongues.
