Of course, now that charges are pending, this changes things entirely, and I expect that these five players will never again play an NHL game. But, I think your expectations about what NHL team executives knew, and what they could do about it are just totally unrealistic.

I wonder why Formenton has never been signed to a contract since his rookie year. He looked pretty good in his rookie year. I remember thinking at the time he looked even better than Curtis Lazar.
