Yeah... "no further comment" won't cut it.
If he is one of the five then if the response is anything short of "We were assured by Dillon that he had fully cooperated with police and that he had been cleared of any and all wrongdoing. Dillon requested a leave for his mental health and was granted it per team policy, only after granting that leave were we made aware of pending charges" then there aren't enough chickens to supply all the egg that should be on their faces. In regards to what happens next if their response is anything less then "we are consulting with our attorney's and the league as to whether we can legally terminate his agreement and will respond once those consultations have concluded" it's nothing but a PR loss and the organization can (and should) be regarded as ####heels.
