Happened with Patrick Berglund as well, where the Sabres terminated his contract (for very different reasons) and the PA wanted to appeal the whole thing. Berglund didn't want to, so they didn't.

I guess I don't think a player being investigated for rape will ask his PA to fight him being placed on paid leave. Or at the very least would the PA even be successful? He's still getting paid.
