But why? If you haven't watched the episode yet, what are you hoping to read? If you have watched it, what benefit do the tags provide?
It is a nuisance because no one gives any indication about what their post is about, so you take a risk that the spoiler will be an actual spoiler for something in the future rather than just a discussion of something that's already happened.
I had the "Purple Wedding" spoiled for me in one of the Game of Thrones threads because people were writing about an aired episode using spoiler tags, then someone posted "if you thought that was crazy, wait until you see how <certain character name> dies" in a spoiler tag, but I clicked on it assuming it was a continuation of the discussion that was going on about the current episode.
