Well again.. Lindholm had 64 points last year which is a mark Giroux hadn't reached in three years prior to the trade. He's also significantly younger, and a better two hundred foot player. 40 game sample sizes don't crater player values on proven high end assets. Lindholm is the best piece on the market by a significant margin, down year or not.

Sorry, but I wouldn't be happy at all with the 27-32nd overall pick in a mediocre draft, Arshdeep Bains, and Tyler Myers even though it technically meets the "criteria" some of you are looking for.
