Yes, as I believe it is quite likely affecting his mental health. Therefore, it's relevant in a thread specifically about his mental health.
If it is coming off as kicking him when he's down, that's not my intention. In my initial post I was merely stating I'm unsurprised that his play, in concert with his off-ice issues, has led to him taking a break.
Everyone wishes him well - I don't think anyone on CP is opening this thread and smiling ear to ear. The well wishing posts don't really add much to the discussion.
