And here we are. Fighting to make the playoffs so we can once again get a middling draft choice. But then again, some of you want to trade away all our UFAs so we languish in mediocrity for another 35 years.
How about we get rid of Lindholm, Mangiapane, Dube, Oesterle, Hanifin, Andersson and Vladar for draft picks? That's who some of you want gone or just dislike. Oh yes, and replace the coach. Say what?
I'd far rather eat 5 million of Huberdeau's salary, try to sign Lindholm to a short term deal, sign Hanifin, trade Marstrom and get a #1 Defenceman. Then we can decide who in our system should get a shot. I'm sorry but I'm not in the Coronato and Ruzicka camp. Andersson???? I also have doubts about Oesterle and DeSimone but until we get someone better they'll have to do.
But then who the hell am I, just a fan since day 1. Whatever, I'll still watch every game. Just not with as much enthusiasm as I used to.
