I'm not sure i like the expanded replay much at all, but I have a proposed amendment if this is the direction he NHL is keeping. Only be able to review infractions that are part of the sequence of the goal, i.e. assists 1 & 2. Anything prior to assist 2 cannot be reviewed. So if you went offside and it was not detected but there were at least 3 passes since then, it can't be reviewed. Same with the hand pass, it was not in the scoring sequence so it's not reviewable.
Seems like a better way than the current system.
