The idea that the Flames could use mental illness to get out from under the weight of Huberdeau's contract, even as a joke, is just stupid and shouldn't have made it beyond the intrusive thought phase of communication. But that's my view.
As someone who also dealt with depression for give or take 8 years, including a couple attempts, I want to say I’m sorry you got to that point and I hope you’re doing better. Beyond that everything that happens in your life and with your struggles is out of my control. I can hope you, Kylington, and Nichushkin are all doing better while still knowing I can’t help and therefore don’t give a ####. Being an adult is an abrupt lesson that no one gives a #### about you, and if some people expect me to care about some hockey players I’ve never met, well that’s not happening. Life is brilliant, but it’s hard, figure it out or don’t, not my problem.

Do I want things to work out for these guys? Of course I do. Realistically is that going to happen? No it won’t. Will one of my posts on a message board materially change that? No it won’t. The only people getting upset by this inflate their self worth through this board and get upset at things others post. If I tied my self value to the happenings on this board I’d probably be depressy spaghetti again myself.

You aren’t unique in having struggles.
