We debated McLeod a few times in this thread, and he definitely has his boosters as well as detractors. I think it depends on who we're trading, but McLeod wouldn't work as the "young roster player", or "prospect" in any deal, but he would be great as the "salary" player, in the event that NJ needed to move out money. McLeod is 25, so he's still young, but no spring chicken as he turns 26 in February. He's in the midst of a good season though, with 19 points in 41 games, and he's big and quite fast with some power and toughness. I like him, and wouldn't mind having him here at all- maybe he would squeeze out Dube...
