2023, 2021, 2018, 2016, 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, and 2010 all had the underdogs winning. 2009 had the biggest upset in Super Bowl history with a wild card Giants team beating the undefeated Patriots. Prior to that, the favourites generally won the bulk of the games, even if they didn't cover the spread.

Under dogs in the game, but not really as a franchise in the NFL.
