The funny thing about Erin Moriarty is that she has done interviews in the past where she felt she felt her good looks got in the way and she was being oversexualized in the industry, not unlike her character on the show. She seemed to acknowledge that she was attractive. Who knows how people really see themselves though.
The images Hollywood and pop culture promote are terrible. I remember a few years back, the scrawny, twiggy look was in and someone in an interview called Jennifer Lawrence a "plus sized" actress. I was pretty floored and thought in what world is she plus sized. She is tall and was maybe like 140 lbs at the time. It made me sad to think of girls taking that kind of comment at face value.
