There is a chance Landeskog makes it back for the playoffs, but I highly doubt it's by design.
He wasn't even cleared for light skating as of January 1st, and there were still questions if he'd ever play again.
Not sure him missing two entire regular seasons to only return for the playoffs is this huge advantage you're making it out to be.

Landeskog was reported to be way ahead of schedule at the start of the year, he just started skating with the team a couple days ago, he has been skating on his own for a while now. Do you think there is a snowballs chance in hell if he can go before the playoffs they activate him? If that happens I will retract everything I just said. Did we not see the exact same thing with Stone in Vegas last year? It is like a total repeat of what happened on here, I said he would suddenly be good to go for game 1, many posters gave me flack about it, he might never play again, he is done, and low and behold look who was ready for the playoffs. We shall see how this plays out but my bet is he is a lot further along than you think and will be there come playoffs.
Not thinking it's an advantage is kind of bonkers considering the last two Cup winners both did the same thing adding back a key member who had missed significant time while loading up at the trade deadline.
