Oh he will show up for the playoffs, I took heat for saying that before the season started. The precedent has been set, why would any team not give themselves the advantage of adding millions of dollars in players at the deadline and then bring their LTIR guys back for game 1 when the cap no longer counts? We are going to see at least one contender do this every season going forward.
