I can't remember what came of that whole situation in Seattle when he left the team before game 3. It sure will create a huge hole in the Avs forward ranks.

Conspiracy theory...Laneskog started skating a bit recently...does this provide a chance to get him some game action until they get Nichuskin back...I don't think so, one a player enters the NHLPA program, it tends to be a longer absence.
