When they had the second best record in the NHL two years ago he traded some picks to get Paul Statsny plus a prospect who never sniffed the NHL. I'd think similar thing here, he'll offer his first and a conditional 4th, and maybe a Brendan Lemieux equal if he gets something else.
He values his young players and I think he probably feels secure with the team having a good season. Dubois is making him look pretty savvy.
