You have to think the pressure will be intense on Chevy though. GM in a city that has had limited historical success except for one run to the western conference finals. An arena that almost never sells out despite being one of the smaller barns in the league. And a team that looks like it has the pieces to compete this year.
Given their current window I think you could get a monster package from them for Lindholm and Tanev if you took Schmidt back in the trade. That frees up a time of space for them to sign Perfetti long term in the summer and allows them to try to resign two of Dillon, Demelo and Tanev (if he was traded there). That is a receipt for them to have a multiple year window.
