There are very few players that overcome both size and skating issues.
Players need a way to separate in the nhl particularly skilled guys so they have room to make plays.
If you can’t separate with skating or size it’s tough. You need to have unreal hockey sense which he might have.
But the reasons he dropped are legit. Few players like him make it.
