The similarities were there and I still see it
Both guys are pretty responsible defensively (Lindholm a bit more physical and physically stronger in this sense)
Both guys had great shots and releases but didn't have super impressive on ice shooting percentage results to go with it yet.
And Neither guy is going to really dangle their way through players, or is great at creating their own shots through individual efforts.
But if you can get them on a line where they can play quick one touch passes to get them space in the slot, or if you can get them the puck in open ice off the rush...then they can both be deadly.
It's what worked with Lindholm (first on the wing with Monahan and Gaudreau; and then at Center with Tkachuk and Gaudreau)
And it's what's working with Sharky now with Huberdeau and Lindholm, and when Coleman finds him with open ice on the PK.
Not going to create their own shots via individual efforts but get them the puck in scoring areas or in the open ice, and all of a sudden their finishing talent shines through.
I'd say Lindholm a bit more physical and better defensively, and Sharangovich has silkier hands and is a bit more smooth with how he plays, but what they need to succeed offensively is similar.
