This year and 2021-22 Markstrom have absolutely been full value.
2.68 and .908 behind this team's complete lack of d-zone structure and unforced giveaways is downright impressive.
Just take the third period of last game as a microcosm of what Jacob has to deal with here.. you had a 2 on 0 and Andersson's giveaway up the middle to shut down just in order to backstop that comeback. This team does NOT make it easy on its goalies.
It's even measurably worse than last year.
