So are you suggesting no ELC and 18 year olds are able to get UFA contracts? Bedard could have signed for $10Mx8 this past summer?
If all the top picks are signing ELC with the team of their choice the cap is largely irrelevant and markets like Calgary would be beyond screwed compared to the big market/warm/tax free locations that have a ton of advantages over the Flames
