At the end of the day, with those three UFAs - if we can acquire the equivelant to three 1st round picks it's an absolute win for the organization and helps Conroy define the team going forward.

Agreed. Where I’m a little skeptical is that teams seem to be really leery of dealing firsts these days. Last year was an extreme. I think what I typed is what they should be getting if teams would deal a first. But tbd if they do. What would be nice is to negotiate the ability to swap first rounders in future years as well. Much like Montreal bent over Treliving for taking on a year of Monahan.
