Focus on the UFAs (Lindholm and Tanev for sure, Hanifin if the return outweighs re-signing him, and Greer) and potentially Markstrom (hot goalie market if he agrees to move) for this deadline.
Then you have the draft / offseason where more guys can move, especially with a rising cap.
Coleman, Mangiapane, Markstrom, Andersson could all potentially attract attention at the draft. It's a weaker UFA crop, and with the rising salary caps teams might have room for the first time in a couple years.
Huberdeau and Kadri likely can't be moved. Weegar is your anchor on the d-core (IMO). And Backlund is your captain. Those are your veterans to mentor the young guys.
But I still doubt the Flames go scorched earth. I'd bet the Flames throw the money they had earmarked for Lindholm/Hanifin at Sam Reinhart before they go scorched earth

I agree with all of this besides trading Andersson.
We need to find a way to keep him. He, Weegar and hopefully Kylington can help keep things respectable on the backend as we work our way through this next stage of Flames hockey.
