Everyone clambering for full tear down is just blinded by the prospect of getting a high pick. Expecting young players to play like #### and 'tank' is far more cancerous. Putting them in a position to fail is far more cancerous. That takes years to undo.
This chorus of 'tank at all costs' is really goddamned annoying and incredibly short-sighted.

Pretty much. Just listen to Zary talking about how Kadri will talk to them throughout a game about different situations and how to play them. In Zary's words "...and then they happen next shift."
Otherwise, young players end up learning, if they learn at all, the hard way.
