Sure but the complaint was that they (meaning Conroy et al) haven’t picked a lane. Starting at the beginning of the season it’s almost impossible to imagine a different looking rebuild, unless you accept crap offers for Lindholm, Tanev and Hanifin in the off season. There has to be some discipline to the approach.
They also picked a lane last season - the “try and maintain a successful team” lane. It failed for a number of reasons.
