Maybe a bit off topic, but from a Flames fan perspective, I’ve never understood the distaste for Marchand from other Flames fans.
The guy scored two goals in game 7 on Canucks ice. I’m not sure if I’ve had a full on hate for a team more than I had for that Canucks team.
If I ever see Marchand in a restaurant or bar, I’ll be buying that guy a beer and I don’t care how many faces he licks.
