But, it's proabably my favourite collection of junk ever assembled in one store. It's a toy store. Automotive toys, home improvement toys, kids toys, sports toys, camping toys, kitchen toys, garden toys. Something about all that in the same place while not being a gargantuan hive of villainy and scum (like Walmart) makes it one of the only B&M stores I actually enjoy going to...until I have to check out or need any staff assistance.
London Drugs is in a similar vein with different offerings and a better overall service vibe.

Oh....I worked at ye Ol' Crappy Tire for a few years. Macleod and Southland.
The stories...my God the stories.
Sure, maybe things have changed at the store...but you know what probably hasnt changed much? The people that come into it.
Especially working in Auto Parts.
Working in Auto Parts at Canadian Tire is essentially the worst job in the world. Other than Greyhound.
The very, very little that most people know about their cars is bad enough. That those cars are broken is worse. That they're coming to Canadian Tire to do a DIY fix-it job is the WORST.
Every. Single. Person.
Every one of them that walks into Canadian Tire Auto Parts shows up at what we call "Level 10 Pissed" because their goddamned Car is broken.
And they're going to fix it themselves.
