They are back to gouging people for financing phones. The $35 dollar deals are all being your own phones but disappear if you need financing. Then you have $60 minimums even on phones with no additional subsidy. Then you have them adding the bring your phone back plans which effectively is a way to get you to sign up for locked in contracts with high penalties that don’t prorate down by month.

So some of the competition on bring your own device has is working and lowering price however it’s another it’s expensive to be poor item that has been created.
