The cost of home tv and internet hasn't dropped at all. That's where the prices are definitely rising. My Shaw TV/Internet/Phone bundle came due in November. They called me in August offering me a great rate to avoid the price bump. I think their great rate was a bump of nearly $40/month and they said my price afterwards would have been an extra $80/month.... I wound up waiting until a week before contract expiration and I'm only paying $5-6 more per month.
