I do an annual trip out that way each summer and golf four of St. Eugene's, Bootleg Gap, Shadow Mountain, Trickle Creek, Wildstone, or some of the courses closer to Invermere as well.
You can't go wrong with the St. Eugene's / Shadow Mountain combo at all - they are awesome. If you can add Bootleg Gap to that, do that too (amazing course). I'd probably say June, or mid-to-late August - beautiful times to go.
Dang, now I want to go back there now. Would love to live permanently down there in that area one day!
