We got the letter today. Her MRI is scheduled for February, 2025! We were shocked and thought it must have been a typo. A call confirmed that no, 2025 is the next available appointment.
What the actual ****? How can there be such a backlog in diagnostic imaging? Is everyone working taking a coffee break after every patient?
If it is indeed cancer, I wonder how long it will be before treatment, 2026?

When I moved I rang up to get an MRI on my shoulder, it was $600 and the lady told me I could come at 11. I thought she meant the 11th which was two weeks away, and that sounded amazing. She actually meant at 11 o'clock which was in 25mins.
Later when I did finance for medical equipment it's kind of ridiculous how cheap MRI, CAT, etc equipment is and there should be way more of it.
