It's not even that accurate. These guys' take home is immense, but probably less than half of the gross (though being in Florida would have benefitted him). Taxes, agents, escrow (when it's applied) take a lot off the top. These guys probably pay some OOP expenses for trainers, dieticians, financial planners, ad reps, etc.
